Storage container at the Football Field
Employees from Lowe's in Hibbing volunteered to partner with the CBA on
this  paint project.  Lowe's "Hero Project" is a nationwide program instituted
to extend a helping hand to "give back " to communities.  The volunteers
participate in 1-2 projects a year.  Lunch was provided by Lowe's, & Chisholm McDonalds donated beverages.

In preparation, the Chisholm Fire Dept. power washed the unit.

Paint grant was provided to the CBA by the Northland/Valspar Foundation
for their MN Beautiful Program.

Pictured below is the newly painted storage container and the "Heroes"
that painted it.
"Kinda Extreme Make-Over" ... House #4
The house will be painted in June, 2010.  Volunteers will be needed...
mark your  calendars now and plan to join us!
(Scroll down to see the results of this project)

Below are photos of the house being painted.  Thanks to the 26
volunteers that came out to help with this project.  Donations were given
by Pepsi Cola, Sunrise Bakery, Fraboni Meats and Valspar Paints.

Your generosity is very much appreciated.
One of the responsibilities of the CBA was to water the flowers which
adorned the main street of Chisholm.  This was done every week-end
throughout the summer months.  Photos below show how they thrived
under  the care of those who gave of their time to water them.
