Chisholm Beautification

     2017 Projects
#1  City Signage Project

Ten years ago, CBA had 12 signs designed and erected in the community.  They are in need of being refurbished.  With a grant from the Chisholm Community Foundation, CBA will have some replaced and others repainted and touched up.  Bark Design of Chisholm is in charge of this project this summer.
#2  Park Benches
Two park benches, purchased locally, with a grant from the Chisholm Community Foundation, have been installed by CBA members, Ed Waters,  John Newbauer, Dave Pessenda, and Rick Allison, by the Iron Man Memorial.
#3  Concrete Wall (semi-circle enclosure of Iron Man                                                                        Memorial)
The CBA panted the wall several years ago and needed to be redone.  It was painted a cranberry color to match the new park benches and also blend in with the colored sidewalk.  The light boxes surrounding the Memorial were also painted.

Below are photos of the work being done.  Ron Gornick is pictured cleaning the wall in preparation for the paint.  The city fire department hosed it down prior to this.

Shown painting the light boxes are Ed Waters and Dave Pessenda, and standing in front of the beautifully painted wall are left to right, Rick Allison, Ed Waters, Dave Pessenda and John Newbauer.

Thanks, guys, for a your dedication to keeping our hometown a beautiful place to live!
